What is recidivism?

Recidivism is one of the most fundamental concepts in criminal justice. It refers to a person's relapse into criminal behavior, often after the person receives sanctions or undergoes intervention for a previous crime. Recidivism is measured by criminal acts that resulted in rearrest, re conviction or return to prison with or without new sentence during a 3 year period following the prisoner's released. (according to NIJ 2018)  In 2018 a study showed 5 out of 6 former prisoners were re-arrested within 3 years of their release. (NIJ 2018)
This is where the End Recidivism Project helps. We work diligently to provide the tools and resources necessary for change and  success in our communities.

We Operate in Pasco, Hillsborough & Pinellas Counties and many north & south eastern states
